Mount Cooke is one of the Albany Highway monadnocks. At 582 metres, this is the highest point in the Darling Range.

UTM coordinate 434772 mE 6413381 mN

It took two attempts to find this crag and yes there was despair and much bush bashing. Nice little crag in the shade with multiple grades, few bolts so will need some protection or gear to make top rope anchor.

Park as described in the guide, There is a track just NE of the parking spot, follow this up to the hunting dog grave in the boulder field, cross north through the boulder field and bush bash (300 m) NE from here.
