Hey all

I was wondering if there was any bouldering or lead competitions coming up for this year?

Hi Joseph.

We were a bit starved of climbing competitions last year (2011). Both Rockface and The Hangout did run their own comps during the year which were well attended.

This year is going to be a different story.

CAWA is working to host a series of climbing competitions this year. If you attend the CAWA AGM this coming Feb 15, all will be revealed !!!!!!

We are working up the details now and will let everyone know at The AGM…

We at The Hangout aim to hold two boulder comps a year, a completely unique format nothing like the SCA sanctioned style, mostly about fun and self improvement. Last years were a massive hit and having just about completed a full facelift of our boulder cave we are getting sorted for our next (Summer Crank 2012) Comp. Keep your eyes on our Facebook page for announcements and expect late Feb for a kick off.
