In the first weeks of February I will be in Perth and I am keen on going climbing, wherever possible. Does someone has a tip where to go to meet other climbers or need a partner?
AngGuestHi Yvonne
Send your email address to chocfiend at hotmail dot com and I will chuck you on my email list of climbers. A group of us try to head out every weekend (or week day if free) and we occasionally do climbing/camping trips outside the metro area, weather and time permitting. February is a great time for heading down south – travelling time 2 1/2 to 5 hours, depending on where. Car pooling can be arranged if you don’t have transport.
Putting a notice up in the climbing gyms is good for finding new climbing buddies too. CAWA run gym crashes once a month, advertised on the home page of this site. They are very handy for meeting new people, and eating pizza 🙂joshGuestHi yvonne
I am mostly free until late February when university starts. Have been going down to Albany fairly often last few months for climbing and Would be keen to get in some more climbing trips before uni begins again. Equally happy to head out to the local quarries for a climb.
Cheers
Josh
