    Where’s a good place around Perth to have ropes washed (Commercial Laundry type service)?

    Why not do it yourself? Some pure soap and swill it round in a tub and then rinse throughly and dry well away from the sun.

    Some people put them in the washing machine – front loading washing machines that is.

    Di,

    These are ropes used in industrial settings and require more thorough cleaning.

    And we don’t have a suitable washing machine at this time!

    Suggestions welcome.

    Dunno but I would not let ANYBODY wash my rope. If they stuff it up then the core can get damaged (mechanical damage or by by solvents), this is hard to see and could cost someone their life. But that’s just me….. you may want to ring uop some of the vertical access or abseiling companies (eg Adventure Out) and ask their staff.
