These two old routes at Stathams Quarry have finally been bolted (with permission).

Centrepiece – Route details no change, now with 5RB to DBB.

Striding Edge – Route details no change, now with 2RB to the GIMB on ‘Strider’ with some trad at the top and DBB.

First ascents no change. Originally these routes were climbed with minimal or no gear, which of course you can still do, just ignore the bolts to experience leading 1970’s style.

Lower off anchors have also been placed at the top of ‘Striding Edge’ which can be used for all three routes which converge here. The Fixe SS304 ‘I’ bolts were supplied by Gareth (The Hangout).

Some of the bolts on ‘Strider’ are looking pretty dodgy and rusted and theres a bit of loose rock in the mid section here which may see some more work in the future. Enjoy.
