Hi All,
We travelled down to Albany over the Easter weekend, expecting to climb at WCH. Currently there is a fire in the surrounding scrub, which has caused the local fireies to shut the 4wd track in (apprently the fire delibrately lit on the 21st of March). Looking from the Shelly Beach side, smoke is still visible.
Anybody wanting to access WCH is advised to check with the local fire authorities to see when the fires will be out, and access to the 4wd track restored.
