Serpentine Falls is a nice place to visit on cool wintry days, when the crowds are out and ambience in. The bottom section of Baldwins Bluff provides some shorter moderate routes, while some longer ones can be found at the falls. In addition, there is a large 30 metre high slab some 500 metres south-east and up the valley from the main car park, but unfortunately there is nothing here above grade 12. Still, beginner leaders may be interested in some practice on the easily angled cracks. Several lines were climbed and soloed in the past but none of these were thought worth recording (don’t bother).
