West Coast Blocs 2022

Drumroll please…. Portside Boulders is excited to announce that this year’s West Coast Blocs will be hosted on the 10th of September at Portside Boulders Osborne Park! West Coast Blocs is our flagship annual competition which will be run as a one-day pumpfest event, complete with a world-cup style final.
CATEGORIES for all skill levels
- Novice (V0-V3)
This category is designed for new climbers to dip their feet into the competitive climbing scene! If you’re newer to climbing but keen to jump straight into a competition, this is the category for you. Designed for anyone climbing up to V3 difficulty. - Intermediate (V3-V5)
This category is for anyone who has had some experience climbing and wants to challenge themselves on climbs from V3 to 6. If you have earned a podium place in past novice categories, you should sign up for this category. - Open (V6+)
This category is meant for climbers who are confident climbing V6 and up. We encourage confident V6 climbers to join in! There will be a finals round on the same day for competitors who qualify.
