Thank you to everyone who has been complying with the quarry booking system for Mountain and Stathams quarries.
I have just received notification of changes to the current arrangement, which has allowed for bookings 7 days a week.
We will now only be able to make bookings Monday to Friday during normal business hours, 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
There is no duty officer on weekends at the moment. As with many other departments, staffing cuts mean resources are stretched.
The number is the same: 9290 6100, which is the DPaW’s Perth Hills District office.
I am well aware that this is not an ideal situation and will report back once I’ve had some discussion with DPaW. In the meantime, your understanding and patience is appreciated.
