      Hey,

      My wife and I are looking at doing the Adventure Out Lead Climbing Course. If we can get at least one more then we get a $35 discount each and the pick of weekends. Although there is one scheduled for mid June.

      We’d be camping at Taunton Farm. I’ve probably got enough packing space for two more people in the 4WD if ya wanna car pool.

      Any takers?

        Keep hunting Ben….It would be good to run the course for you. Could do discounted price for 2 of you but at Churchies…..better at Willys obviously. Hopefully you can sort it out.

          Hey Ben,

          Are you the Ben that took us for the Intro RC course? Sorry, if it is, Anita & I only know you as “Ben, the Adventure Out guy” (don’t know your surname). 🙂

          I’ve been doing some low grade leads (12-15) on bolts and trad. Just trying to learn “the ropes” on climbs way within my capabilites.

          But I think it’s best to get some level of formal training. I want to go to Willys though. The extra cost is worth the experience I reckon… especially seems as I haven’t been there yet!

            Yes…’the adventure out guy.’ Good to hear your leading a bit. Willys is definitely the way to go. keep it in mind. If you can remember most of your roping skills from the IRC then youll get heaps out of the course. Lots of climbing.

            Been climbing a lot but I go away for 2 weeks on the 13th May. Back on 27 May and off to thailand on the 24th June. early June would be good for me (weather dependant) otherwise Ryan could take you guys out…. just let me know what you want to do. [email protected]

                Hey Cat,

                Still working at the Hangout? We haven’t been for a while cause of money drying up. Which is also the reason I’ve had to postpone, once again, going on this course. =( Can’t go to the one in August cause we’ll be flying out for an alpine course (hence the lack of money) that weekend so I guess it won’t be until the October one now. I’m pretty bummed about it, I’ve been trying to get this course done for aaaages but I guess it’s ok as I’ve been learning to lead by myself for a while now anyway.

                Oh well, if ya wanna come out with us for some easy trad climbing give me a hoi.

                    FYI…

                    The August course has been cancelled and they (Adventure Out) are looking at running one in October.
