Hi, I was down at Churchies last week and spoke to Ranger Bob who told me that DEC will be implementing a new policy for car parking as of next month-apparently all cars parked on DEC land will have to be parked in a North South orientation and not a East West orientation as this will minimise sun warming of car interiors, this will in turn minimise air conditioner use thus reducing the ‘car carbon footprint’! How will this work in winter? Perhaps invert the rule and park East West?

The rule will be subject to a fine for non complianc. This is just more outrageous regulation by DEC and I hope CAWA will get onto it ASAP.
