Hi Everyone

We would like to invite all climbers to the annual CAWA xmas BBQ at Point Walter Reserve in Bicton. It is free for members and a small cost for non-members.

Activities: Bouldering and eating.

The plan:

4.30pm-6pm Blackwall Reach bouldering (or whenever it suits you).

6pm : BBQ

Post BBQ: Freo pub for those who feel inclined.

What CAWA will supply: Meat, veggie patties, buns, sauce, plates and if you are lucky, cutlery of the plastic variety.

What to bring: Anything else you want to eat (e.g. salad), drinks, chairs, blankets, mozzie repellant, climbing shoes and chalk.

Directions:

Come down Honour Rd on the left side of Pt Walter Reserve, going straight through the roundabout at Carroll Drive and continuing on past the tennis courts. On your right you will see a kid’s playground some parking and BBQ’s that are quite close to the road. We will be in that general area, fairly close to the road. On your left, if you follow the path down to the water, you will find a long expanse of limestone wall conveniently placed for your bouldering pleasure.

Cost: Free for members (you will need to bring your membership card).

$10 non-members (unless you would like to join on the day!).

RSVP: Friday November 27 2009. We would appreciate as many people letting us know by this date as possible for catering purposes.
