I can definately recommend the Adventure Out Lead Rock Climbing course, Its held at Williabrup over 2 days, They teach you all you need to know about building belay’s, placing protection etc, I did it a couple of weeks ago. The instructors are “real” climbers with lots of experience and know how. give them a call and talk to them about it if you want to know more. Cheers

If you want indoor then just go to either The Rockface or The Hangout and ask. They both have intro courses. I did the course at The Hangout. It was 1 night a week for 8 weeks.

Adventure Out also does the Intro to Rock Climbing Course which is conducted at Churchman’s Brook just outside of Armadale. But it’s not much good if you don’t have the gear (or don’t intend on buying it anytime soon) to be able to rig your own setups outdoors.
