      Hi

I’m staying out Mandurah way over the Easter Break.Where would be the closest climbing area? I’m mainly into trad climbing; if possible do a bit of top roping with my nephews.

There seems to be an area near Pinjarra. (half hour from Mandurah??) What’s it like? What guide book is it in??

Thanks for any information someone can pass on.

      Cheers,

      Bruce

            Howdy,

There are some pix we took at Pinjarra on the Flikr site

The road cutting is fun for a warm up, just watch your rope over the top, I nearly cut through one side of my anchor, There’s a DBB at the top and you can walk round the back to get off, There only seams to be 1 line of bolts for both climbs, Good thing is you can park right at the bottom. We have some other pix of Boomer Crag, Its in the shade and an easy walk in, Quite a few nice climbs on it (see pix)

The land owner likes to be notified if your going to be there, His number is in the 2002 guide,

            Enjoy
