I recently checked out the single DVD First Ascent by sender films. It was amazing. I see now that a 6 dvd box set is available, which I will soon be seeking.
Has anyone else seen the movie? Or have you seen the 6 dvd box set?
I can really only use my room mates computer for simple things, not allowed to download anything big :(, unfortunately I have to surf the local libraries for climbing videos. Alex, was he the guy that climbed the tombstone?
They can post the DVD’s to you from the Sender website, Alex Honnold is the guy who free solo’d Half Dome and Moonlight Buttress, there is so much extra footage that comes in the set so it could be him at tombstones.
Oh yeah, he’s from Sacramento. I watched the footage of him and that crew going to Borneo and doing the big mountain it was sweet. I’d really like to see the entire film of that trip and a few other doco’s about climbing. Also dean potter is a bit crazy.
