    Hi all,

I am visiting the in-laws near Perth (Mundaring) from 31 August to 20 September 2009. i’ll be bringing my climbing gear in the hope of enjoying some of the local rock.

Any climbers fancy days out sampling the best WA has to offer?

Aswell as staying near Perth, i am taking a trip down to Margaret River from 11 to 16 September and would love to visit Williabrup.

i climb up to E2 trad and 7a sport (looks like 20/24 in aus grades) but grades aren’t as important as good routes. i’ll have a hire car.

    Hope to hear from you,

Hi, a bunch of us usually go climbing around Perth on most weekends. You’re welcome to come along.

What’s your email address or phone number?

You should also consider West Cape Howe and Peak Head near Albany and maybe Kalbarri. Great climbing at these places as well.

    Hi Ed,

I’m currently staying in North bridge working on a casual basis. I’ve not climbed outdoors since I left the UK 3 months ago but I’ve been climbing in doors alot. I used to climb HVS 5a at best and I’m quite comfortable on VS, I don’t mind trying the E1 or even E2 but I’ll probably have to second them. I have a full rack of gear as well which should be enough for most routes in WA. I also have my own transport.

I can be contacted on the following mobile number 0427992750 or e-mail address g_c@hotmail.co.uk

Hi, great to hear from you all.

i am here now – staying off the Great Eastern Highway half an hour out of Midland and can be contacted on 08 95731148.

I can get out Thursday and Sunday this week. Anyone free? I have heard that Churchman’s and Mountain Quarry are well worth a look.

Pascal, I am in Yallingup from 11 September and will give you a call then.

    Cheers, Ed
