GuestI am thinking about going for my first outdoor bouldering trip. I want to go to elderado mainly for location close to home 🙂 wondering if anyone has mini guides for the area also what grade is it? I’ve looked at the online guide and I see it’s not on there. Any help would be great.
Thanks
Chris

KeymasterHi Chris,
I’d recommend not going to Eldorado for your first bouldering trip.
its not super easy to get to and there is no guide. I’ll make an effort to head out to Eldorado in the next couple of months and document what has been done.
if youre in that area, Walyunga is a far better spot, easy to get to and plenty of easy to find problems. I have a copy of a rough guide made by Mike and Jason. Let me know your email and I’ll send it to you.
I believe Shane Richardson has been recording the info for Walyunga in conjunction with some of the areas developers so a comprehensive guide is in the pipeline.
