There’s some great spots for bouldering in Parky, the place is covered in boulders, you just have to know where to look. 😉 At Falls Rd, there’s a nice set of 3, large and chunky boulders next to the road towards the end of it, and there’s lso a few scattered about in the bush in certain places, but be careful, there’s dieback areas, watch carefully where you are.

My li’l climbing companion Joel ad I had a serious go yesterday and there’s some text book problems here, even a nice underhang problem and the odd li’l chimney. 🙂 May put some graded routes up soon.

    Peace man, wooooo. 🙂

P.S. there’s more than three boulders too, this area’s a bit like secret garden out at redhill (toodyay boulders). 🙂

Is the area I’m talking about Hovea Boulders in the Climb WA section? I jsut stumbled along it today, no one has said anything about this being the area, but I think the overwhelming chance is that it is the same spot, although no mention was made of Falls Road.

If this is in fact the same spot, has someone got topos for these two routes,

    Hovea Delight and Mitre?

It’s in the guide but not enough information, I’ll seee if I can get a hold of Bjorn Aikman, who set Mitre.
