      Neil’s project – 6m grade 24 (or 20 after 50 top-rope rehearsals)

Neil reckons it’s really good for a quarry climb.

Approach via large talus slope formed by fresh blocks crowbarred off prior to FA.

Start by clipping GIMP at ground level, followed by grade 16 climbing on drilled jugs (hangers required on this section because Neil doesn’t mind fiddling with hangers on grade 16 terrain). Clip P bolt protecting crux, then double dyno past large gap between drilled jugs (P used because crux is hard for Neil). Clip GIMP after crux then easily on drilled jugs to the lower offs.

      Bolted 2 yrs ago.

FA: stolen last thursday by the writer who mistakenly assumed it had been climbed after hearing of 50 TR ascents

Damn it!!! I did the FA of that 3 years ago! A perfectly good V4 before it was raped and pillaged.
