Hi everyone! Had my first climbing experience at Statham on the weekend with Adventure Out, loved it and keen to try more.

Obviously I’ll need a bit more training and experience, so I’m looking at doing Adventure Outs intro rock climbing course which runs for 2 days, but not until June, also their lead climbing course, but they are not running it until november at this stage. I have emailed them to express interest in earlier courses if they have any.

I had a quick look a the companies listed on CAWA website as offering courses, but Adventure Out is about the only one that seems to be active? Some of them I couldn’t find any/very little info on google, one of the website links we dead and the other website didn’t advertise any dates, like it was on request only.

So, if anyone knows any other places I can get experience/training sooner, I’d love to hear your ideas! I was also going to look at becoming a CAWA member, start coming to your gym crash nights etc….hopefully the newbie will be welcomed 🙂
