      Hey,

So basically, I’m a 17 year old boulderer from England, and I might be coming to Perth next year, and I was wondering…what is the volume of hard problems like in the Perth area? I’m looking for Font8a (V11) onwards type of stuff, preferably steep and crimpy, but I’m not toooo botherd about the style.. Oh and is there any cool unclimbed lines still about in the Perth area? I’m basically looking to see if theres enough hard stuff to keep my occupied, and is there any good indoor bouldering?

      All info will help,

      Thanks in advance

        G’day!

Bouldering is still fairly new to WA, with a certain Ben doing the hard yards to get some areas established. As such, is still fairly undeveloped and there’s plenty of routes waiting to be sent and documented.

Most hard stuff is probably around V7-ish, but have a look around for the bouldering mini-guides in this section and hopefully you’ll find what you’re after. Kalamunda is nice and very technical, Boulder Rock is awesome but might be a little easy for you if you’re a strict grade chaser.

By the looks of things on this board, there’s some cool stuff happening around certain caves, but I don’t know where they’re talking about myself… 😉

        Cheers!

Ahhh caves cool! I love cave problems :), I’m not a grade chaser as such, but I’d just like to know theres stuff out there to test me as I get better. My email is [email protected] if anyone wants to contact me, cheers for the feedback so far 🙂
