In Perth until January and studying at UWA, miss bouldering and would like to go climb with anyone that will take me along. Couldn’t bring my crash pads/dont have a car (I’m an international student from the states) but I do have my shoes! Mostly a V3/V4 climber, but I don’t know how the ratings size up over here.
There is a traverse above the Swan River at Blackwall Reach. It’s a lot of fun, but the landing can be cold in winter. Blackwall Reach is just downstream of Point Walter, on the south side of the river.
head to the rockface on any week night and jump on the 45. thats where the small bouldering fraternity hangs out. some weeks its tues thurs some weeks monday wed, but no doubt someone will be there. v3/v4 (outside?) our grades are a bit stiff, nonetheless the bouldering is worth making the effort for. good luck
