Hiya Mike,
I was lucky enough to find a climbing partner who was also a doctor in the Aboriginal Medical Service while I was in Hall’s Creek. That was 12 years ago though.
Mulla Bulla Station has significant red granite walls. It is now owned by an aboriginal corporation and I don’t know if you can get in.
There is more red granite in the hills facing the Argyle Diamond Mine turn-off and they are on public land.
The Saw Tooth Ranges are red sandstone. I only bouldered there, but it looked interesting.
If you can get onto any of the old “coral” up there it is good. Ie Geike Gorge, Tunnel Creek stuff. These are well known but there is a lot of it elsewhere. Mt Pierre Station has limestone pinnacles and cliffs made from the stuff. Access again is the issue. I climbed on it at Yihli Station, again aboriginal land.
There’s a popular swimming hole just south off Hall’s Creek whose name I can’t remember. It has traversing above the water as well as short walls we only top roped. Out past Old Hall’s Creek. The locals will know where.
There is a tourist site out the same way consisting of a quartz wall left above ground where softer rock eroded away. I had a look at it, and even did some bouldering but we probably shouldn’t. It could be eventually dismantled piece by piece.
I also did a little bit in a few gorges but the rock was dodgy, wouldn’t hold gear, (like loose stacked bricks).
There is a lot of rock around Hall’s Creek of vary types and quality, but access is an issue and you need a vehicle.
Have fun.
