For info on climbing, see guidebook. If you do not have it, MF is a large granite dome with 1-3pitch climbs. You will need 10 hangers, full trad rack (but over 50% of the climbs are fully bolted) and dual ropes to get off (or walk off).
Other than that bring a helmet, rain jacket, headlamp, and a light backpack to carry up with you.

Quickest way to Mt Frankland?
I’d just take the South Western Highway from Perth down through Bunbury and follow it through Donnybrook, Bridgetown, Manjimup etc etc.
It’s the most direct route and you can really floor the car. Then again, every man and his dog will be heading down south this on the weekend so the roads may be chockers. The other way (not as direct but maybe less traffic) would be to head into Busselton via Busselton Highway and then take Vasse Highway through Nannup and towards Pemberton were it links up with South Western Highway about 50 or so km’s north of Mt Frankland.
Easy 😉
Either way, you’re looking at around about 4-5 hours at the very most.
