Hey all, da girlz are planning a trip down south to Willyabrup and Bob’s for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (you’re all forewarned!). However, there’s some rain in the forecast . . . .

Now us girls aren’t exactly afraid of rain, but I’m just wondering- how quickly does Willy’s dry after a shower?

And has anyone been down to Bob’s recently, is the rock wet and seeping?

I went down to Willyabrup after it rained heavy in the morning. We Found that the rock dries really quickly from the wind blowing onto it. But it was so cold, I couldn’t feel the rock my hands were so numb. Take a chance and go, it’s always lovely down there.

Anyone been down recently – what are the access trails like ? I’d imagine pretty washed out and rocky ?

Was at Willy’s and Gollgotha 2 weekends ago with the hard men of perth. I let me tell you it was dangerous… All that said the rock was great. Cold conditions (hello it’s winter) so bring the down jackets. Hands were supper cold but warmed up after a few routes. Tracks? Ok into Willy’s, bit damp into Gollgotha. Prevelly beach Caravan Park offerering cabins (5 people) for $70 not bad if you can get a crew.

Thanks Mark- I reckon you were in more danger from those ‘hard men’ than from anything the rocks could do to you . . . . 🙂

We’ll be sure to bring all the warm stuff we can find, and the thermal underwear!
