Remember the old hanging flake in the corner of mobjob? I’m talking 3 years or so ago.

That came down when I put a cam under it and tested it. Size of a bar fridge. My rope didn’t get caught on it luckily, and belayer was under the roof – said flake went off like a bomb next to him though.

I was surprised how easily it came off, given that Willy’s is a well climbed area, and Mobjob is a three star… you know? Not that I’m blaming anyone -just surprised.

Anyway… don’t put cams in flakes
