Monday Weak*, 24(+?), 15m
Right of Month of Sundays, follow bolts to DBB (hangers) below the roof. This anchor might have maillons on it. Multiple sets were stolen during the routes early days, culminating in much frustration, the purloining of red tape and the likely theft of my socks by a frog. The starting moves are easy, before some high stepping and reach testing is required. Then there is a spot of extra strong gravity, just before the angle eases and an anchor appears. Views are welcomed on whether this spot of extra strong gravity should be removed to make the route more consistent at the grade of 22/23….
Neil Gledhill, Kate SwainChrisGuestI don’t think that spot of extra strong gravity needs to be removed. But that part is super desperate with no feet! 24+ is right. Not hard enough for a 25, but harder than a lot of 24’s.
AnnaGuestDon’t change the top crux.. It’s awesome… You have no feet and if your short like me it’s a desperate sequence of dead points but very engaging from second to fourth bolt.. I love it guys but in my opinion it’s not a 24 more like a 25 for the crux moves…Bulls and hangten are much easier.. Maybe it feels harder as I find I have to jump to crimps but I reckon on the other hand if your tall the high steps would be awkward! Either way awesome addition! ? Thanks
