      Very sad, report says they were from Perth.

        Colin I saw that. There has been a few people die on Mt Cook this year, it must be very dangerous or people not experienced enough.

          very sad,

          although its impossible to assess what caused the latest tragedy mt cook is a very serious objective and is often underestimated ( especially by aussies) 50% of all fatalities on cook are australians …

          thats 3 fatalities in the nz mountains in the last month
