Hey folks. A new open proj for the aspriring. 4m left of Dickheads + Dinos. Follow the bolts. (29ish).
Closed proj. Line of bolts continuing from the start of Inshallah (see new routes).
New rap anchor – at the left end of the small ledge above the main wall (just up and left of D+D top out) and above the mentioned open proj is a new set of chains. 30m careful rap to the terrace.
Lower-offs and chains at 30m can be a problem. A bit too close to 25m. I know of one fatality where a climb was opened on a 60m rope and another party lowered off on a 50m. Might be worth chopping these.
Was at Frankland recently and after a scary play on Skippy (heavy rain) we were very relieved to see the new rap chains for descent….moss and running water make some of Frankland’s climbs very difficult to get off.
