Travelling back to Perth yesterday, I saw a hill covered in good-looking boulders – but did not have time to stop. Take the road direct from Pingelly (which is 19 Km south of Brookton) to Wickepin. Approx 30 Km out of Pingelly, there’s an obvious hill on the left, a few hundred metres from the road, with loads of granite on it. Does anyone know this? It looks good, but here’s the health warning – I did not investigate in person, and at 190Km from Perth, there’s some risk of a wasted trip! Also, it must be on a farm property, so you’d need to call in at the appropriate farm first.

Hopefully someone would like to check it out and claim the first “ascents” (is that the word in bouldering circles?!). Please post your findings here…..
