    Hey all,

Went and looked @ some boulders on the weekend and put up 3 new routes.

    To get there,

Drive STH along albany, @ the CNR of Solus Rd continue along Albany Hwy for another 4.6km and turn L @ the gravel Rd, turn R @ Cooke Rd and follow road for 500m. From hear walk uphill until you reach the cap rock. Boulders are visible from hear.

There is no walk path so bush bashing in required.

I saw a carrot placed on one of the high routes. I have done some research and am unsure of this locations name. The rock was dirty and had not seen traffic for along time.

The problems i have put up.

    SKYLINE BOULDER.

(Its located inline with the largest boulder there and is on the outer side of the outcrop.)

    BUMBLE BEE V1 f.a J.T 2009

This boulder has a noticeable traverse.

    KANGAROO BOULDER.

Located next to the Skyline Boulder is a noticeable cave.

    RH problem… SEX IN THE CAR V3 f.a J.T 2009

Start using the crack, move along left until the large sloper, top out.

    LH problem… TRIGONOMETRY V2 f.a J.T 2009

Start on the underclings, move along right, same finish as sex in the car.

    Regards, Joshy

Sounds like youre on the flank of Mt Cooke. See here for the miniguide – (www.climberswa.asn.au/climbwa/miniguides/Mt%20Cook.pdf).
