      Hi everyone,

I have decided not to go climbing or bouldering this weekend.

You are all invited to join me. No camping fees are required, no permission from land owners is required and no booking of quarries is required.

Hopefully it will be a very successful, enjoyable and worthwile no-event.

        Hi Elvis,

Thanks for the invite. I think The Duke and I will join you. Shall we say 7 am for a BBQ and champers breakfast? John can show his .45 lever action and I’ll show you my fake bullet hole.

Well Huh? If you had bothered not to come as the invite stated you would get it! Geeez, it wasn’t that confusing for a real hardcore was it?

Due the enormous popularity of my first No climbing weekend event, I am going to organise a bigger and even less eventful weekend. The second No Climbing weekend will be so uneventful that NOBODY is invited!

Hope to see none of you there…..stay tuned for details that will not come.

Being so hugely inspired by your recent not climbing expeditions, I have made the decision to completely give up climbing, hoping for the same liberating trips to nowhere with nobody in the future.

I would like some advice though, how does one pull off such a well excecuted not climbing trip, time and time again ?

I have so far attempted not climbing by selling all my climbing gear, becoming overweight, injured and moving to a house as far away from climbing gyms and rock as possible.

Any further advice would be highly appreciated. In ther meantime, please keep us updated on your latest not climbing trips. CM

Forgot to mention I have already taken the wise precaution of having a toddler and a new baby is on the way to assist in not climbing trips.

                      Tami,

I see from your extreme dedication you are but one step away from pure non-climber legend status. All that remains for you is to embrace that last name of yours and acquire a lethal dose of Swine Flu. Then and only then will your name be forever held as a legend of non-climbing. We may even dedicate an annual international no climbing event to yourself.

keep up the non effort….the less you do the harder it gets
