      I am co-ordinating the trip to Peak Charles this year. The trip is being held over the Easter break – Friday April 10th to Monday the 13th (Less than 3 weeks away).

      Peak Charles is approximately 900 km from Perth and located 200 km NW of Esperance and provides climbs ranging from 11 to 27 (see guide on this site for more information). We will be using the DEC campsite at PC which is free of charge. The only facility is a drop toilet so all attendees need to be TOTALLY self-sufficient – you will need to bring all of your own food and water.

      Please respond to this post to register your interest. I will send you more information a questionnaire and a registration form. Please note that his trip is for CAWA members only.

        Dena and I are coming and we will bring the CAWA rain shelter. You may want to bring tables and chairs to sit under it.

        Also important: please bring headlamps and carry on every climb – every year someone gets benighted. Also bring rain jacket, there tend to be short dumpy thunderstorms and if yer 4 pitches up in cotton clothes and no rain gear then bad luck….see ya.
