Hi there, I’m trying to track down an old mate that I worked on the westcoast(nz)with. Last time we made contact he was working in perth, but talked to ed nepia today and he says that rich moved back to NZ. Been trying to find him for a few months now. For those that weren’t sure I’ve moved back to NZ to get married and enjoy the hills! John, I’m not sure if I should be flattered or worried about looking like the 8th Doctor Who! I’ll take it as a compliment! Unfortunately though I cut all my curls off a couple of years back so now I’m probably closer to one of the later doctr who’s!
Also taken a break from climbing after my second knee operation so only been cycling. Making my come back into the hills next month with an attempt at the west ridge of Malte Brun! Can’t wait! Hope to see some of you over in the land of the long white cloud if your over!

I’d say I’m thinking of a different Richard – I called him Richard once and then ‘The Doctor’ from there on in! 😉 Lent the git a cd and didn’t get it back, hehe!
Wouldnt be surprised mate if it was this Richard Woodman….he’d rip off his own grandmother..other people are looking for him too…we will note that he is on here. Thanks for finding him for us that need to know.
