Rocky bay in Mosman Park/North Fremantle, I’ve seen it from the river and it looks decent enough. I’m wondering if anyone has climbed there and if the rock is crumbly/ soft etc, and also if its quality climbing or not. Looks like it might suit DWS, but perhaps the bay is too shallow?

Generally very soft and crumbly, with ankle-breaking shallow bits at the bottom. There are a few more solid bits here and there, but I’ve never seen anything worth climbing. But maybe there is something worthwhile somewhere?

There is also an old limestone quarry in Mosman Park, and a 10 m high lump of rock in a park, but they are also soft and crumbly.

For something in that area, I stick to BWR or Peppy Grove or Cot Wall.
