today we found some ok boulders along the bridal path near hovea falls to get there turn off great eastern highway onto seaborne st, turn left onto owen rd continue onto victoria rd till end there isn’t much parking, on the right there is a small path onto the bridle path go left on bridle path from the falls look strate of the bridge look for the rocks you cant miss em go to the far side till the overhang there are several routs and more in the area.

I think squirmy decided on the name of a happy little 12 we came across (very juggy overhang), “I Once Caught Two Japanese Tourists Making Out here When I Was Three”. Discovered by Cam, Grant (squirmy) and Aaron Cockman.
Next to this climb on the left is a serious looking overhang, at least a good 5 metres, anything up to 7 metres I’d say. Lots of nasty stuff and two big holds, could make a V-ridiculous, or simply a trouser filling, flapper tearing dyno! 🙂
These boulders these guys came across are seriously sweet, in John Forrest NP. I’m sure everyone’s probably seen them, but I don’t think any climbers have ventured over to them and seriously tried them. There’s some serious vertical gear, lovely slab, overhang kinda stuff, if you like Boulder Rock, you like here too.
We’ll try and get some further info and map it out properly, Bickley and Kalamunda NP fanatics should check it out. 🙂

Good day to Western Australia and hello climber,
I will come to Australia (Sept. 05 and Jan till July 06) and I like to climb in that time a lot … BUT I have a problem. I am on my own (with a nonclimbing girlfriend)! So I’m looking for some climbing partners in all parts of Australia – specially in WA and NT!
So … if you like to meet a european climber (Grad +/- 18) or if you have climbingfriends or if you have friends, who know someone who climbs or if you have a friend, who has a friend and the sister of the neighbour of that friend climbs … I am sure you know what I mean 😉
