Hi I am new to Perth, climbing 5.9ish (not sure what the down under grade is) been here 3 months. The crux is Im gay are there any like minded climbers out there keen on weekends away, or rainbow nights at the local gym?
Welcome to Perth 🙂 The best of luck in starting Rainbow nights for those who want them. I haven’t encountered any aggro for being queer – a fact I don’t disguise or advertise. Maybe that’s the point.
As for Christian climbers (Norm)- Fair comment, but I wouldn’t know one if I belayed them. Why? I go to climb for the climbing, not politics and religion. Can’t speak for everyone on that.
Think climbing’s good fot that, level playing field, particularly between men and women, equal respect. I couldn’t care less who belays me/out climbs me/leads… as long as they’re trained. 🙂
gay or not gay… does it really matter, unless your looking for something more then a climbing partner.
But there are a lot out there that wouldnt care if you were gay, straight, or into 1 legged leperous dwarfs…. this site is about climbers and climbing…
you want a relationship ..well there are plenty of those sites out there too..
