Extract from The West Australian rock – First Edition April 2002, page 191:

Quite a test-piece. The prominent roof crack under the right pinnacle “of the lookout” should say

“of the triangular overhangs (Hawk’s head)”, about 10 down left of No Hawkers.

“Beware of loose rock at the start” is an understatement or has become one since the FA by K Lindorff and J. McIntosh in Oct 1995.

For your information, a pile of very loose rocks at the start of this trad climb was pushed down without effort on Saturday 4th June 2011 for safety reason.

The climb difficulty remains the same. It’s a nice route that probably deserves a star or two and certainly more traffic.

A good alternative for a rainy day when the roads to the other crags are closed!

“Beware of loose rock” still applies but it should be much better now. Drop a line if you jump on it.
