      Hi guys,

Do you know whether top ropes can be set up at the main slab at mount cuthbert without first leading the climbs? Otherwise if I lead one of the climbs to the right (hanger high for example) is there top access to the other belay points for the other climbs?

      Cheers,

      Matt

Matt – yes, top ropes can be set up for any route as there is top access. Bring 15m of static rope and some cams (up to size #1) and mid-large nuts to do that. You will need 30m climbing rope for full range of options. A rope protector sleeve may be useful also.
