John KnightGuest
Saw it again for the second time last night, had a thought, would CAWA be able to turn it into some kind of fundraiser event? I mean a showing at Luna witha few added dollars to the ticket price and climbers turn up at a particular screening, and we can all mett each other, etc?
Just a thought. 🙂
Will i amMemberHow about becoming a member? thats a great fundraiser and you can meet ALL of the members.
John KnightMemberIf I could, I WOULD, don’t you worry about that! 😉 I can’t even afford a re-sole at the moment, let alone a trad-rack or membership in anything (that’s why I’m such a keen boulderer, I’d be a keen lead climber if I had a grand to spend on gear)!
When I have the means, I will, you can count on that. 🙂
TocMemberWhy not just go to the movies anyway. Put a notice up saying hey a bunch of us are going, come along. But trust me, I know for certain, climbers are like cats, it is impossible to get them all to do the same thing at the same time, but some of them at the same time, that’s possible, sometimes.
We do have social meetings at Rosie O’Grady’s Northbridge every third Wednesday of each month. The quiz was one of those. Sometimes there’s slides of trips people have done, we had a knot night a while back and will do that again, and me personally, I would actually like to see them become a bit more social. Any suggestions from out there?
