      Hi there,

      I’m visiting friends in Shelley, WA at the moment and was wondering if anyone would like to climb this weekend. Unfortunately, I left my climbing gear in Scotland so I think I’m stuck with the local climbing gym. I would love to meet climbers here and find out more about outdoor climbing in Australia as I hope to visit again in the near future for some outdoor climbing.

      P.S. Can someone also recommend a good climbing guidebook I can take back with me to study for my next trip?

        I’m going to the CAWA first aid workshop on Sunday morning and then I’ll be going climbing somewhere in the afternoon. You’re welcome to come along if you like – I usually go climbing with a few friends to Churchman’s or Stathams or somewhere. Have you got a phone number or email address?

          Hey Phillip,

          Thanks for your reply! I would love to go climbing on Sunday. I am going to kick myself for not bringing my climbing shoes and harness with me. 🙁 Is there a place I can rent them for a day?

            Hi Stephie

            I have a spare harness you can borrow.It is a small size. I can pass it on to Phillip at the workshop. If you have smallish feet I have a pair of Boreals sitting about (a 37??).

              That is awfully kind of you, Ang, thank you so much! A small harness would be great. I wear a size 36 Mythos but I’m sure a 37 would work with a pair of thick socks.

              I am still waiting to hear from Phillip and I am very excited that I will get to climb in Australia! 🙂
