I’m not saying I told you so or that there is any connection but, and this is not an accusation, but commercial groups are getting what they want and climbers are not
We are oraganising a meeting with DEC as I write, (dates are being bounced back and forth). This is the first meeting after the one where the quarries were first discussed, so we are hoping for feedback on that.
DEC is supposed to discuss changes such as the “booking system” with relevant user groups. This didn’t happen in this case. We still don’t know who advised them on it but we’ll be asking.
