went there on the long weekend. it appears the left side of the quarry has colapsed???? perhaps a while ago. i say this because i found it impossible to find the slab there and the shape was different than on the drawing.
having said that some really great climbs there and definately worth the drive!
Looked fine a few weeks ago when I was there. The slab behind the fenced-off area was fine.
Were you with the group that had the ‘accident waiting to happen’ piece of daggy nylon craypot rope attached to the belay anchors at the top? Or was that someone else?
Old bit of cray-pot rope? Yeah, sounds good! Maybe you can sell it to someone – put up a post under the For Sale section.
The stuff that was being used at Welly a few weeks back wasn’t even suitable for tying up a tomato vine. If whoever keeps using it, then they are gunna die!
