    Hello All

My lack of suitable climbing partners is driving me nuts and with some cooler weather around the corner am very, very, very keen to make the most of what the SW coast of WA has to offer – mostly West Cape Howe/Albany/Walpole/Stirling Ranges.

Have climbed in the area a couple of times and love the place, so much so that I bought a 4wd to ease the access (ie at WCH maximise climbing and minimum the long hot sandy approach by foot)

I have been climbing since 1994 and most of my climbing has been trad/natural (lost of climbing at Frog buttress SEQ – aka the home of Australian crack climbing) with plenty of multi pitch. Not that much climbing of late but figure I would be comfortable on trad leads to about grade 19.

My work situation is very flexible so two to three day trips suit me best (lets face it WCH is too far to go for any shorter period). But I do need a week or two notice to plan trip dates.

If you fit into the above categories ie climbing ability and available time (and would be willing to share fuel costs) or know someone else who does please contact me ASAP (scfielding@gmail.com) Some of the best wilderness climbing in the country is waiting.

    Cheers

    Scott

    Hi Scott,

why don’t you join CAWA? A whole bunch of CAWA people went to (and are going to) Mt Franklin, WCH and Peak Head this weekend.

Good point am happy to join CAWA. Perhaps within CAWA there will be a few kindred souls keen to pull together a small crew for frequent multi day trips (monthly if weather allows).

Am just looking for consistent regular partners of a similar standard who have plenty of time. I work equal time 14 on 14 off.

    Cheers

    Scott
