Hey Climbers,
Been on a climbing trip in the past with fellow climbers? Ever thought it would be a great idea to do the same thing further afield…?
Tell us where you would like to see CAWA travel to in 2014. Once we’ve complied a list of locations, a shortlist will be generated of possibile locations and put to a vote.
Look forward to seeing you ‘further’ out there!

AnthonyGuestNice Damien, we’ll see where we end up… I might make a competition out of this… Keep you posted!
jeffreyythGuesthey,
not sure if you are the same anthony i met in kalbarri.
but anyway, seriously consider Malaysia as the next destination.
KL (capital city) has two big crags close to the city – batu caves and bukit takun.
batu caves is essentially a jungle limestone wall with grades ranging from 5b – 7c+. some climb are up to 80m (all sport though)
bukit takun is primarily a limestone wall on the base infused with granite at the top, the highest climb is pussey key 9 pitches. with bolted limestone rock up to 4 pitches than trad granite for the next 5 pitches.AnthonyGuestGreat Jeffrey, yeh same guy…
will be in Malaysia in August, had planned on a daytrip to Batu Caves to check it out…
Thanks for the suggestion! -
