In case anyone is interested dpaw have a new draft management plan released for the Albany coast area, I have only had a quick flick through at the moment but it seems to mix up the terminology around climbing / abseiling and suggests “abseiling” will not be allowed in the gap and natural bridge area, I wonder if climbing may be absorbed into this as well?
JohnGuestHi Stu, are you Albany based? I’m the editor of the Albany Advertiser and keen to chat with a local climber about the Albany climbing community. Let me know if you’re interested. My email is john.dobson@albanyadvertiser.com. Cheers!
