Climbed some routes today, could not find any record of them anywhere and doubt they have been climbed before due to the amount of cleaning. If there are records of these climbs in the available guide books I will be happy to stand corrected.
These routes are on the North Western face of Angwin Peak and are found 100m or so uphill from the large cave at the base of the peak. Plenty of anchors at the top of Mega Mega Litres. I will post photos of the climbs on the crag.
Mega Mega Litres, 17m 15
Trad. Start to the left of the obvious corner and crack. Climb the groove to the top. The crux is near the top.Tarp, 25m 16
Trad. Chimney the corner and follow the left trending crack to the top. Once the crack ends continue up the slab until you find a good place to belay. Not Sure, 25m 14
Trad. Start in the small gully to the right of “Tarp”. Climb a very short section of slab to a crack then follow the crack to the top. Either traverse left to a belay or continue up easy slab until you find one. The crack splits off at the top so you can go right for an easier variation.Cow Pattie, 25m 10
Trad. Climb the gully /crack to the top. As for “Not Sure”, either traverse left along the slab to a belay or continue up easy slab until you find an anchor.N.Cole and D. Klicker , 2016.
