Wanted to know how to safely set up 2-point top rope anchors that are accessible from above the cliff face (i.e. don’t require lead climbing)?
Come along to this workshop to learn from the experience under supervision and in a safe environment.

Entry requirements
- Must own your own climbing shoes, harness, belay device and helmet.
- Suitable for people who have been top roping indoors for at least 2 months, can belay safely and are comfortable in outdoor environments.

- Considerations for climbing in the outdoors.
- Ethics.
- Climbing specific knots and their applications.
- Choosing and finding suitable routes for top-rope climbing.
- Selecting and connecting to anchors. These could be bolts, rocks or trees.
- How to build a top rope anchor.

* Weather plays a crucial role in our plans. If conditions are unfavourable, we may need to begin significantly earlier or later. The worst-case scenario entails having to cancel the event altogether.
Safety is a number one priority in all our workshops. Those who register but don’t meet the prerequisites above will not be allowed to participate.
