Jim Truscott and myself climbed Karma on the Labor day weekend. We were both surprised to find the most difficult move between the first and 2nd bolt – it appears that an overly heavy person may have pulled an enormous flake off from just above the first bolt. Is this correct or has it always been this way? The climb was very enjoyable except for the finger shredding move to the 2nd bolt and the rain. Matt Rosser
Hi matt – no the crux has always been the blank and precarious section near the top, just where the wall goes from vertical to slab. I do remember some pretty dodgy flakes down low. I guess this climb will just keep on getting harder….
