Intro to Outdoor Bouldering

A workshop for indoor boulderers who are looking to transition outdoor bouldering. Or anyone interested in learning how to boulder outside in a safe, ethical manner and getting some tips and tricks to help you send your next project.

Prerequisites
- Have own shoes, chalk bag and brush
- Have some experience indoor bouldering
All climbers on the event must be independent participants who are entirely responsible for themselves and meet all prerequisites listed above. In addition, following our Public Liability insurance requirements, everyone will need to sign a Deed of Release and Indemnity and fill in a registration form so that the climbing experience can be vetted for the event.
When and where?
- Winjan boulders, South Ledge Road (Paulls Valley)
- The 5th of Decemberthe; 8 am to 1 pm (12 places available)
Please note that CAWA workshops are a benefit for members. Non-members interested in coming with you will need to join online and follow up the registration for the trip beforehand. Furthermore, be aware that the weather is the deciding factor of this event. The trip might be cancelled if the rock is unclimbable. The final decision will be made last Tuesday before the trip.
